Beautiful hand-pieced and hand-tied quilt circa 1900, featuring the “Rocky Road to Kansas” pattern. It is made with 16 full blocks (approx 15" x 15"). A wonderful piece of Americana textile art to own!
Thick cotton batting with a later woven plaid backing, likely added approximately 20 years later. Edges are hand-finished with the backing brought to the front. In good vintage condition with some spotting. Owner prior to my purchase was a collector in Alexandria, VA. See all photos for details.
