This stunning appliqué quilt is a perfect one for all the American holidays! It is a great example of a Baltimore album quilt. In very good condition, this piece is has been lovingly and carefully soaked and air dried. It has a few seam pops and very few small areas of staining. This quilt appears to be vintage, handmade by someone's great grandmother in the early 1900s and it is sometimes advertised this way. It is, however, a quilt that was produced by Arch Quilts of Hawthorn, NY, most likely in the 1980s or 1990s. Many have been fooled by similar ones or other patterns made by this company. I do agree with an opinion about these quilts, does it really matter whose hands made it? It still has value and many of these quilts have held up well and are sought after by collectors. My price reflects that it is a company made quilt.
